You can set many styles of tiling, with options for each, as well as changing the size of the individual tiles. These settings are saved until you change them. These clips are from full-size 1024X768 tiles.
Tiles can be saved as BMP or JPG. You can also save selections from tiles, and then tile them.

There are 4 options for Style 1. For the first three, you can change the background color and get a different result.
Option 2 tiles are shown highly compressed, to demonstrate the ability to set compression. For some uses, high compression softens or adds interesting artifacts to the tiles which can be beneficial.

Option 4 inverts the colors of alternate tiles, making for a striking effect. The middle picture shows the left clip retiled at size 25.
