The next button will switch your bumpmap extensions in a CR2 or PZ3. If they are .BUM, they will be changed to .JPG, and the reverse. It is up to you to actually change formats of the maps referred to.
The final button in the PZ2 submenu is the
Create Pose button, which will allow you to make pose files for only the body parts you choose. With such a pose PZ2, you can apply the perfect leg pose without disturbing the rest of the body, for example.
The next button in the left column, Create Library File, has a submenu with two items:
Make Master CR2 - a further window will appear. You can make a Master for the P3 Man/Woman, P4 Man/Woman, or Other, which includes everything else including Millenium-type figures. You can choose to include morphs, or make a totally stripped CR2, which can then be used as a base for a new figure. You set it up with your materials, repoint the OBJ, transfer morphs, etc. Vendors have been using this tool for a couple years, and it is still there if you really want to use it, but now there is a better way:

The next button down in the left column is for working with ERC. Here is the
submenu, and details.Move your mouse over the next button, and the
Geometry Tools submenu will appear. The Material Coordinator: you may have noticed that there are a number of materials in Posette's CR2 that don't actually exist, as well as a lot of preSet materials which no one uses. This tool will remove the extra materials, and dump the preSets if you want to. Moreover, if there are materials in the OBJ that are NOT in the CR2, the tool will add them. This feature makes it very easy to add the materials to a new CR2, it can be done in a matter of seconds, safely and completely.
The next button,
Maintenance, has an extensive submenu of tools to keep your Poser and CR2Edit running clean.Next is the
Accessory Poser Files button. Here you can make camera and light files, access PHI tools, and make an MTL file. The
JP Setup Room - this is where you set up joint parameters for a modelThe
Joint Transfer tool: if you have the perfect joint parameters set up for a CR2, you can transfer them to another that could benefit from them. This is a very tricky operation, especially if parts at the end of an IK chain are involved, but it can save a lot of work.
What's in "Other Tools"? Well,
other tools, not easily categorized.
Your dials come up in Poser in no apparent order? Don't have Poser5, or is re-arranging them there too awkward? Need yet another way to hide dials? The answer is the
Reorder/Hide Dials toolset.
The
Delete button replaces the old Trashcan in CR2Edit5 and earlier. It is far more powerful and easier to use.
Next is
Copy Morph or Body Part. You will be prompted to open a source file, if none is open, and then shown a submenu, so you can choose whether you want to copy morphs or body parts. The appropriate window will then open.
Renaming morphs or body parts needs no explanation. You simply select the morph/part, click the button, enter your new name, and say OK.
