There are many kinds of ERC (Extended Remote Control of morphs and other channels). The first tool will enable these amazing time-savers, the second will let you instantly change the ratios, which determine how strong the effect is. |
|
|
First you need to decide what type you want to enable. JCM is perhaps the most common, where the movement of a joint adjusts a morph. JCJ is Joint Controlled Joint, JCT is Joint Controlled Translation. The "M" ones work the opposite way, as do the "T" ones. PBM is a Partial Body Morph, and CM is a Conforming Morph, which is used to automatically adjust clothing when a morph in the wearer's body is adjusted. Below is an example of JCM. |

When Posette leans forward, the bend of the abdomen and chest adjust the morphs to provide a more natural appearance. |
Once you have chosen the type of ERC you wish to enable, you're only a few clicks away from being finished. Zenware Zeke will explain the process, which is very easy, and give suggestions for best results.

Here is the Change ERC Ratio window, with one of the very first ERC (then known as ECM) clothing items, Nerd's Halter, loaded as a PZ3. You can change ratios in either PZ3 or CR2 files. There isn't much to explain, you select a channel and enter a new value. Zeke suggests values in the ERC creation area, but sometimes you will want to experiment with them.
